J-ENG Exhibition at SMM Hamburg 2024

Japan Engine Corporation (J-ENG) will exhibit at SMM 2024, an international maritime exhibition to be held in Hamburg, Germany, from September 3rd to 6th, 2024.
SMM is the largest maritime industry exhibition in Europe, held every two years, and more than 2,000 companies from over 120 countries are expected to participate this time. At this exhibition, the "Future Fuels Arena (a special exhibition area)" will be set up in the exhibition hall, and next-generation fuels are attracting more attention than ever before as a solution for carbon neutrality in international shipping by 2050, as the movement toward decarbonization is accelerating worldwide.

In this context, J-ENG will introduce the cutting-edge technologies of ammonia-fueled engines (UEC50LSJA, UEC60LSJA) and hydrogen-fueled engines (UEC35LSGH), which are being developed ahead of the world as next-generation fuel engines. At the same time, we will also provide updates on the latest information on existing engines, such as the MGO mono-fuel engine that uses J-ENG's unique stratified injection technology, and the UEC60LSH engine, the latest model of the UEC-LSH engine.

Following on from Sea Japan, held in April this year, and Posidonia, held in June, at this exhibition we will be promoting a wide range of J-ENG's environmental technologies, including GHG reduction, to maritime professionals visiting from all over the world, particularly from Europe.
