Success at First Exhibition at Sea Japan 2018

Japan Engine Corporation (J-ENG) held an exhibiting at “Sea Japan 2018”, the largest maritime exhibition in Japan held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 11 to 13, 2018, and welcomed many guests of ship owners, ship yards and other marine business industries.

For this exhibition, J-ENG launched the concept of “JUMP （J-ENG, Unique Marine Power)”, which stands for J-ENG’s innovative solutions for NOx, SOx, and EEDI.
And as a part of this challenge, J-ENG announced innovative MGO mono-fuel engines “UEC50LSJ / 35LSJ” by combining UE engine’s super low fuel oil consumption rate technologies and layered water injection technologies to meet 2020 SOx regulation, which is now under the development subsidized by The Nippon Foundation from 2018.

During the exhibition, on April 12, J-ENG held a presentation on UE engine’s latest technologies: “UEC50LSJ / 35LSJ”, UEC50LSH-Eco-C3 which is the latest version of the original UEC50LSH engine with less fuel oil consumption rate by fully electric controlled , and LP-EGR and LP-SCR as NOx TierⅢ technologies.

At the exhibition, J-ENG received great interest with many enquires and comments from the guests especially regarding MGO mono-fuel engine “UEC50LSJ / 35LSJ”.
And J-ENG published the latest UE engine catalog 2018 version as well as pamphlets with the information of MGO mono-fuel engine “UEC50LSJ / 35LSJ”.

Releasing the latest technologies at Sea Japan 2018, J-ENG, as UE engine’s licensor, will continuously challenge to meet wide variety of customers’ needs and expand the UE engine sales promotion.
