J-ENG did a volunteer beach cleanup in Nishioka Seaside Park in Akashi city

Japan Engine Corporation (J-ENG) has been taking part in the “Change for the blue Project” supported by Nippon Foundation and the “Plastics Smart” supported by Ministry of the Environment, as a member of the Japan Marine Manufacturers Association, and hold a cleanup activity in the beach nearby on 9th October.

Nishioka Seaside Park in Akashi city is located about 20-minute walk from the main office. 52 management personnel and employees marched along the pavement to the park picking up plastic bottles and containers etc. for about 2 hours and 87 bags of garbage were collected.

J-ENG will continue to participate in marine litter cleaning activities and contribute to the development of the sustainable society.
