Completion of shop trial for the first 7UEC60LSE-Eco-A2-EGR diesel engine
The first set of 7UEC60LSE-Eco-A2-EGR engine with a low pressure EGR* system has been completed on Nov. 17, 2020 passing the shop test and overhaul inspection. The engine will be installed on a bulk carrier built by Oshima Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and owned by Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha. UEC engines with the low pressure EGR system have been extended their application not only UEC50LSH type engine, completed Oct. 6, 2020, but also UEC60LSE type engine. The under-developing UEC42LSH type engine will also install the same low pressure EGR system, whose first set will be completed in 2021.
J-ENG will contribute to realize a sustainable society through extending series engine production of environmentally-friendly engines
which meet NOx Tier III regulations and meeting various needs of customers.
