J-ENG Exhibition at SMM Hamburg 2022
Japan Engine Corporation (J-ENG) will exhibit at “SMM Hamburg 2022” held in Hamburg, Germany from September 6th to 9th, 2022.
SMM Hamburg is held every two years and it is Europe's largest trade show for the maritime industry, attracting a large number of maritime professionals from around the world each time. The previous event, scheduled for 2020, was canceled due to the spread of the COVID-19, so this time it will be held for the first time in four years.
As the momentum toward achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 increases in international shipping, attention is being paid to the environmentally friendly technologies of each company.
Similar to the well-received Posidonia exhibition held in Greece in June this year, J-ENG will also be exhibiting the latest UE engine lineup, the ultra-low fuel consumption engine "UEC-LSH" and the MGO mono-fuel engine “UEC-LSJ”.
In addition, we will introduce information on the latest efforts such as ammonia fuel engines and hydrogen fuel engines, which are the world's first challenges as technologies to comply with environmental regulations toward carbon neutrality by 2050.
Especially, the stratified injection technology installed in the MGO mono-fuel engine is J-ENG's own technology that enables efficient mixed fuel burning of two different liquid fuels and then can be applied for various low-carbon and decarbonized fuels such as ammonia, methanol and so on, which is attracting much attention.
J-ENG is the only licensor in Japan that handles every stages from development to manufacturing and after-sales service. Through this exhibition, we will promote the world's most advanced environmental technology and ultra-low fuel consumption technology to maritime professionals visiting from all over the world, and will lead to an increase in the presence and market share of UE engines in the European shipping industry.
J-ENG‛s booth (Hall B7 – NPJ) is located in Japan Pavilion, and it will be pleasure to welcome you in J-ENG stand at SMM Hamburg.
